I got the email yesterday telling me i havn't visited the site for some time so thought it would be time to post a pic or two. I have been working on my Uncle's 62 for a while and now have it up and going. The weather is a bit off but i am going to a swap today and giving the 62 her first real run. It hasn't been on the road since 1974 (apart from a few short trips locally) so it will be interesting.
Very cool Jason. It's going to be a great looking car!

Here she is at the swap. It was a cool day with some light rain so no overheating issues, it drove quite well at 60 mph with only a little hum from the third member at around 55 mph. Other than that it couldn't have been better. It has 79000 original miles on the clock and the engine has never been apart, so i am expecting the factory shim head gaskets to start giving trouble once it gets some regular use.
Thanks again for the help on the issues i had during the fixup, it is great to have genuine people to share thier knowledge.
Your car looks great. I particularly like the way the Aussie style external sun visor goes with the shape of the cars windscreen surround. Probably makes it unique.
Coincidentally my car has the same internal dash chrome, but is badly pitted (English Climate!) and was butchered for a non standard radio by a previous owner. It's a long shot, but if you stumble across one in good condition - preferably with no radio hole - would you let me know?
