RE: She's comin' along!!

Bedford trucks were sold at Canadian Pontiac dealers.

Great bunch of pictures. I love the "exploded view" of the doors without the skins on them. Great/lots of work!

Hi Pete,

The sliding doors on the Beddy's were standard. The slam doors were factory option. I remember everyone driving round with the sliding doors open in the summer months! Don't like them personally as they spoil the line of the van and rattle terribly, but they are good fun.

They had 'em all years from '69-'80 (CF1) and 80-84 CF2. Yes, i'm an anorak!!!

Can't believe there was one in Oshawa! Do you have any pictures? I thought they were Europe and Australasia only!

The Ponty is so close I can taste it!!!!! Really excited!!

Will keep in touch!

Ian

Remember on one trip to the ol' country, trying to get a cup of coffee early am, this would have been in the early
'90's standing in the hotel lobby, just got my cuppa from the clerk and heard a rumble outside.
Looked out and there in the midst of the usual right hand drive natives was a beautiful jet black '68 Dodge Charger just rollin' along..it looked like a freight train in a herd of kittens, but that RUMBLE was something else !
T-5 Mustang in Switzerland, and a couple of vintage Corvettes, oh and the Diablo that blew by our tour bus coming into Paris on a bank holiday weekend..then was seen sitting off the side in heavy traffic with the Gendarmes checking him out

Door card - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Door_card
door card (in British English) or a door panel (in American English) is an insert on the door of a car that covers the door's internal components.
