Well the 396 astro jet '66 Parisienne is all tucked away for the winter here in Edmonton, never really did much to it but definetly came to the conclusion that dismantelling is not an option. I see that '66 out of Lethbridge with the 283 on kijiji....kinda tempting but now that it`s minus 20 here in freezeland I`m in no hurry. I`m waiting on my neighbor to sell me his rust free six banger `67 4 door sedan but when that happens is anyones guess. One of the luxeries of having many projects on the go is that you can sit back and wait for the stuff to end up in your lap without breaking the bank. But still, when I get to looking at this all original , rare Canadian made big block Pontiac sitting in my yard I start to get that itchy feeling. Frame is toast but floors are solid...had to fab up a fuel line to feed the hungry beast as it was rotten aswell, then plugged off the brake line to the rear at the frame tee as , well...yes it too was toast. So atleast I got front brakes to nurse it around the block....but hot dam, that`s all this old girl needed to get some brake pressure and lock those front wheels in place while I went to work on those original rear bias ply tires. Can you say smoke`em. That 396 ( 135,000 original miles ) will absolutely eat the pavement. Hard not to get a little excited about this one when I read all the enthusiastic posts from other Pontiac lovers over the much more common small block examples. How many of these original big blocks cars could possibly be out there ? On the back burner for now, but will certainly see the road again.

A frame change isn't an impossible task---it sure would be great to see the car saved.

I may have a good frame or a few parts cars as mine is getting fairly close to being done so don't forget. It would be quite the beast to be brought back.
