1967 2dr Biscayne. L36, M40, G80, K05, F41. #'s. 1967 Impala convert. 283, glide. Parked in the garage since 74 and hasn't moved. Soon to be BB 4speed.
Would be neat to see the GM docs for the car??, but with the owners name and VIN covered over of course.

I'm wondering that as well. Is this accepted practice in the GM world? I know the mopar guys are stongly opposed to this type of activity even though it happens all the time.
Ya, and not to offend anyone but most Mopar guys aren't right in the head anyways-LOL........
Ha ha!
True... but if you look into it closely you can say that about most "car guys" on the whole (including me)... that's what makes this hobby interesting!
Remember to the rest of the world we all look quite insane, devoting most of our free time and spare $ to fixing a 40 or 50-year old car...
..........cool car.......nice shape - particularly like the rear hips..............the more chassis shots I see, the more I can pick thats the same with the Aussie versions..........
Glad to see it's being brought back to life. I tried unsuccessfully to buy this car from the previous owner before he passed away. I only learned of the estate sale long after the car had been sold.
It is a Canadian car sold new in Halifax, NS at the Chevy dealer (Forbes maybe??) that used to be downtown on a street just below the Citadel (whose name I now forget). It intersects with Spring Garden Road. The dealer was still there when I worked in Halifax in the 80s.

I used to talk to Joe McDonald in NS and his brother had 1 or 2 68 SS427 cars. Do you know of them??

I'm not sure if they are related to the dealer or not??? I used to talk to joeseph alot but he had cancer and dropped of the face of the earth, I hope he is alright. The last time I talked to him was a couple years ago. Joeseph had a 66 impala 427 car and 70 chevelle ss454 car. His brother was a 68 SS427 guy.

Yes, Joe used to post on the SS427 Impala site until 3 or 4 years ago, then stopped suddenly. Joe's brother bought the black 68 SS 427 Custom Coupe that was in Super Chevy magazine in 1983. It was previously owned by a guy named Rick Nelson, who is a noted Chevelle restorer in the US. Joe's brother bought it from Rick 4 or 5 years ago.
The dealer down by Citadel Hill was called Citadel Motors, which was a Pontiac dealer (also Buick and Cadillac? My memory is failing...). Ashmore's beautiful '67 4-door Beaumont was sold there new.
