I have never posted before so I thought that it's about time I posted and introduce myself. My name is Eric I have been a member since Feb 2008 and I have read many interesting  posts and have learned alot from the VERY knowlegeable Poncho Lovers that post on this site. Thank you! I live in Calgary, and bought my 1970 2+2, about 3 years ago, here in Calgary. It has an LS4 and 2:56 gears. A good friend saw it addvertised for sale on Kijiji, pointed it out too me, twice! The first time it was for sale, I was not in a position to buy it, but called the seller to look/take pictures of it. This was the only other big block Pontiac I had ever heard of, since I sold my 1970 Laurentian 454LS5.  in Nova Scotia, back in '76. I did not have a clue of  what I had at the time. I sold it cheap to a junk yard just before I came out west. The Laurentian was a puky lime green metalic, kind of a sick color, but I got used to the color fairly soon after putting the gas pedal to the floor a few times, LOL. It was the perfect sleeper. Kinda looked like a family car, even though it was a two door. It was a real hoot to drive!

Anyway, zoom ahead in time to about 6 years ago and the 2+2 is for sale in Kijiji. I could not buy it at that time, but went over and looked at it after telling the seller about my Laurentian. So I took somepics of it and drooled all over it, and left, thinking about how stupid I was for selling the Laurntian. Now, zoom ahead 3 more years and my buddy sees it for sale in Kijiji AGAIN! But this time I I did have cash and it was actually $3000.00 cheaper then the first time I looked at it.  When I saw it the second tim, it took about a half a second to make up my mind to buy it. LOL

The picture attached was from the web page when it was for sale the first time. Most of you guys have already seen it. I think that pic is 8 or 10 years old. It doesn't look as nice now as the the paint has faded quite a bit.  I have put about 25,000km on it since I bought it. It needs all new suspension bits, as well as paint and tires (they just went up in smoke. LOL). I hope to get the running gear fixed after Xmas and paint later. Any way this has been sorta long winded post, so I'll just clam up now. Thanks.
