Yes, the leading edge is a different angle so the trim sits with a air gap between the hood and itself.

This will make the trim sit more forward and they are less likely to match up with your Beaumont eyebrows.

You can use a chevelle hood with Beaumont trim but the Chevelle trim won't work on a Beaumont hood. My 4 door Beaumont has a Chevelle hood on it.
