This is my brothers car and I can tell you what he's asking, and the amount of nos parts he has to go with it is more than worth the price. Nowhere does it say that it's a Ram air III numbers car??? List parts that he's aquired for Ram III Could be a "CLONE" car, still why part it out??? "Somthin's Fishy" here to me????
NOT a clone, If someone was interested look into the vin. Market sucks good enough reason for parting out.
PS... One thing I dislike about this site is people talking s**t about ad's
A 70 Ram Air III goat. In my view, it's too bad that it had to come down to parting the car out. I'm sure there will be a lot of content individuals coming away with some nice parts.
Looks like a real good project... IF the shed wasn't full....I'd be lookin to bring it home.
What is the asking price , with all the parts? PM me if you aren't comfortable posting it here.
Thanks...

The car was listed, with price didn't sell, so you're saying he should put a dollar value on each and every part. If someone is looking call the number. How would you feel parting out your dream car. I'm disappointed
This is not a car or a project anymore. It is a bunch of parts. Ie parting out. It was a true Canadian made ram air car. The shell frame and vin were sold already. The market is tough. I had it listed up until a week ago for $10,000 firm. My ONLY offer was $8500. I'm already halfway there. I will hit $11,000 by the time I'm done. I've always liked pulling off the band aid slowly. Anyway, no hard feelings towards your posts. They are your opinion, it would be different if you were responding to my ad with these thoughts. That is bullying. Felt that when I had the car listed for $14,000 a few months ago. I'm moving on. I was going to write that it is just metal, but I don't lie.
I exactly know what your going through . I'm sitting on the fence on whether I should complete my project as well, since the market is so soft on finished cars. I know the parts are worth more than the car is as a whole. I'm into my project for $25K -30K already and it will take another $15K to finish . Once done I'd be lucky to get $25K in this market today . I'd be far better off pulling the plug now , and throw my $ into real estate ... make a tidy profit , and then buy a finished restored car at a discounted price.
I have not "pulled the trigger" yet , but may soon.
I too believe it is more than just metal but sometimes this "disease" clouds our better judgement .
If you've seen the "calendar" thread with a picture of my Super Duty 455 Trans Am, I understand what you are talking about. That car would likely have brought at least 5K more than what I sold it for. I still sold it as a project rather because I couldn't bring myself to part out a Super Duty car. I had a couple of guys waiting to buy parts if I would do it.
I am not saying you are wrong parting your cars out. It's your car, you can drive a Cat over it if you wish and nobody has any right to complain if you decide to.

You know all lot of the failure of the car prices is not souly driven by a depressed market but by the shear volume of vehicles to view. For example on Kijiji alone under classic cars there are 746 in SK, 2378 in AB, 5741 in ON, and 587 in MB. Before free adds only someone that really wanted to sell a car would advertise because it costed money. Now every fool with three cars rotting in a slew has adds posted skewing the whole price vs value all to hell.
All with in an easy 2 day drive from me. If I were in the market to spend more than a couple grand I'm looking alot further than a couple hour drive. Hell I check craigslist reqularily with a global search and am waiting for the opportune time to snag a 57 Nomad.
Just a thought...........cheap adds equal cheap cars. That's why we get all the Kijijidiots responding to the adds and those dicks the barter kings.

Very rare find..... I have for sale a blk on blk 1969 Ram Air III nice interior console bucket seats factory 4 Spd original nodgular posi GTO with a 428 motor, car came from the southern states. Car came with a factory 8 track player but is long gone, Rally wheels std drum brakes, no pwr steering , Ram air exhaust manifolds, Ram Air Hood, dual exhaust, milage reads 97370 miles they only made something like 1800 of these cars,PHS doc's very solid car pictures on request. Must be seen to appriciate needs complete resto inside and out car runs and drives and can be driven while restored.. Sorry no trades Asking $18,500.00 If interested contact
I've never understood why enthusiasts buy a car to restore..loose interest and then try to sell it for a profit. I'm sorry to say, in this day and age selling a car completed or not for a profit is difficult if not impossible. In fact, as most of you know I got my car on trade. This seems to be one of the few ways for a car to change hands these days. So, if the guy wants to part the car out to get what he has in it out..I have no issue with it.
