Thats the highest I've seen for one of these.  Course it is an early 65 one and it is NOS and  complete, but still Yikes!

I have enough for my needs and a couple of friends needs, so I didn't go very high. Last time I think I quit around 700 or so.

By the reprint it looks like 12 people are "all over" this at that time!!! This could go the same as a Right hand remote mirror for my 2+2 Catalina. Last time I found one on e-bay it was over $500 & going higher for the "rustiest" POS you've ever seen. Turns out it's the same mirror for a 64 GTO!!!!!
