hey Carl, im thinking about scraping one 409 car just because the rust is to bad the only servicable part is the frame, its even rotten in the roof, under the vinyl top, lots of work and quite frankly never will be worth it. is that a pic of a 65 bonny or cat

I'm going by memory here but I am 99% on that car being a Bonneville 4 door hardtop. I've looked at it a few times but this yard has a LOT of B bodies.

The picture of the front cowl passenger side on this 69 4Dr HT Cat is just sick. Even the best CP would probably never look this good here.
I spent too much time here on my 69, and didn't even get anywere done properly without cheating.
I think it's time to switch sides...

If I still have it in the spring, I will be listing a 67 Nova SS 327 for sale. It has metal just like this. Not a lick of rust anywhere, never has had. It's a whole different world when you go to remove a bolt from a car like this.

the only reason im asking is that i need door panels for both wagons, it might be easier for a US car along with a bolt vinyl
I added it to my list but unless these cars have had the windows up I doubt the panels will be good. I imagine 4 door fronts are the same? Do you need the same colour as in the picture?

That's the condition of the sheet metal on my 63 Catalina from California.
ya the wagon has the silverblue which fades to a silver, ive dyed it once already but i doubt i can do it a second time, the read wagon is in the same boat, basically the whole interior is sun damaged, im thinking SMS might be able to repro it
Ah, ok. I know a yard that has a few but I've never checked to see how they are. Do they typically have bad pitting or are they pretty good?
I can sure next time I'm there. If the snow doesn't get crazy and temps are nice, I might try in Feb. It's over 200 miles south of me in Minnesota.
I know that yard. It is a good yard, his prices aren't "great" but they aren't bad. He does have a lot of nicely optioned cars there but everything is really rusty-especially towards the back where it gets really swampy. I'll maybe check it out this year-I haven't been for a few.
