spotted this.................

@ the Costo on Sumas Way this afternoon......

Just a "driver" but still really refreshing to see a 45 year old COOL car being driven in January....

A bit rough around the edges, but pretty original still.

Looks pretty nice. And it is nice to see them driven as they were intended.

I could have driven mine last winter... probably 70% of the winter, as we didn't really have one in the GTA.

I love what Pontiac put into interior design and colours in the 60's. Nice car.

The exterior comes across in the pics better than it actually looked in person.....but is was BRUTALLY stock other than:

Modern 90's stereo (dash hack) cassette)
Cal-Van door mirrors (period correct)
H4 headlights with "bubbles"
Right side wiper blade
All season w/w radials

I did notice stock appearing DUAL exhaust tailpipes (which MIGHT indicate 327?)

Also note original factory type radio antenna with the plastic "fluted" bezel nut.

Not pickin' here.......just FUN to put them in the "shark tank".......

I was having a pretty good day & seeing this black 64 on the street was the "icing" on the cake........

Ya, I love that antenna nut! biggrin

It also appears to have a retro-fitted cupholder on the driver's side door holding his Tim's!

That is an oddity for up here. I remember years ago being in Las Vegas and I couldn't get over the amount of daily driver vintage tin. Sun baked like crazy but still going strong.

Have been driving my 64 cs daily. Bit rainly today, had a round trip to Pearson airport today. I kept it out of the snow and salt we had last week in Barrie. They are great cars.
