Well it's been awhile but starting to get the itch again to do some more work on my 54 laurentian.I've bought a ton of new parts for the old girl and once it warms up so i can get out into the garage i plan on gettin going in anticipation of spring.Ok i know its january but hey a guy can hope.Anyways since i put shiny new carpet in the car last summer i figured maybe trying to find a set of floormats would be prudent.Does anyone make them for our 54's?Were they just rubber from the factory?I'd like to find a set with the pontiac emblem on them.Now my car of course is pueblo tan,so the carpet is kind of an orangy color,not the easiest to find.But i would settle for black i suppose.Also while i'm at it does anyone make or have a set of the door sill plates for the four doors.I know i have seen them on chevs of the 40's but they are just plain not the crosshatch pattern of the fischers i have now.Mine are not terrible but something i would like to replace eventually.I am purchasing a buffer from eastwood shortly so can probably clean up the rears,my fronts have started to corrode along the edges.I found some 2 door ones on ebay but never 4 door ones,dang.Any help appreciated.Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the replys guys.Wow those are a little pricey at 300.00 a set for a couple hunks of tin.At least i know they have them.Sent you a message carl on the mats.Could be an expensive summer as i replace or replate all the chrome bits on the old girl.
