Heres a question?? I've had 2 people that know my 64 well from the shows & cruise inns, both are saying I'm selling it "TOO CHEAP" Could it be that potential "buyers or traders' think theres something wrong with the car??? because of the price!!! I really think it's just the market that "SUCKS" or too early in the season!!!

Pete - your price is very reasonable and 427Carl should be spending some of his kids

inheritance .......that's a great car.

The market in Canada is a disaster right now......a true buyers market.

You may have some luck uping your price and listing in Hemmings.

Many Americans are nervous about bring a car back into the US but is a much easier

process than we have bringing one home to Canada......all they do is make an informal declaration

at the border, US Customs gives them some paperwork for their DMV and they're done.

A US citizen does not even need a passport to come to Canada at a land crossing just

photo ID. I have sold several cars to Americans lately and if you get the right one they are

a joy to deal with........I had virtually no problems.

You could probably up your price as well.......you've got a great car but in my experience you

will have a tough time selling this side of the 49th

bj

Ancaster isn't great for selling a car but Bothwell (in August is)........

I head out there every year and in fact was a vendor last two and the car market there is hot or at

least as hot as I've seen in Canada.

If the weather is good Waterdown can be active......large for sale area there and itsa lot closer.

shoulda ran it through the Toronto Classic Car Auction this weekend

Ancaster is good exposure

Waterdown is always worthwhile

Barrie allows the northern people to see it

Bothwell for sure

Carlisle

Pittsburg Parts O Rama if you don't want to travel as far

No for sale signs allowed at Autofest so don't even think about that one

lots of different cruise nights gives good exposure

its tough selling a car-can be challenging in the best of markets -lotta people think its easy

Carl stop messin' around.......just buy it.

It's white and it's right.....I'm dyed in the wool BowTie but I'd take that 64 Cat over

any 64 SS, anyday.........can't understand why that won't sell........really nice looking car.

Pete

Have you tried advertising in the US.....if you get an American interested have him

call me and I'll tell him how easy it is for them to import as long as not a dealer.

Been there, done that..........easy

Of course Carl needs something this summer........that Cat is it!

cheers

bj
