Hi I'm new to this site. I recently acquired a 67 Beaumont 2 dr hrdtp custom that has been stored away on blocks for 20 years. The exterior is tahoe turquoise with a lighter blue interior with split bench seats. Although the interior shows no wear the sun has taken it's toll on the edge of the driver's backrest and top of rear seat. I'm looking for a supplier to replace the seat upholstery. Does anyone know where I can purchase this from?
Welcome from Canada's east coast Mike. You must show pictures of your car.
One of our sponsors at the top of the page, NOS can probably help you out with your interior.

Its all the same as a chevelle malibu, readily available and cheap cheap cheap, all the american restoration catalogs sell all the stuff, There are only 2 manufacturers of all the seat skins/panels, PUI and Legendary, PUI is cheap, Legendary is more, you get what you pay for, but its all pretty good, just be sure to order everything from one supplier at the same time, to be sure the colors match and the dyelots are matched

Thanks for the friendly welcome guys and the valuable information! I'll be making contact with the above and getting this project into gear. That is right after the old Camaro upgrades are complete. :)

Thanks for the compliment! The tires are like-new old bias plys on Keystones! Retro or what! And the original general white-wall sits in the trunk along with the 4 dog-dish type caps. This c
Welcome to canadianponcho! I really like your car. I see your car has D99 2-tone moldings on it as well without actually having 2-tone. It was a unique Canadian thing.
I've never seen or heard of the L-code Tahoe Turquoise pair with the 728-code Medium Blue interior, and I have been a car spotter since these cars were new.
According to my Canadian availability chart it was not an normally offered pairing. Only Black interior (or Fawn on base series cars).
What must have inspired it was the lack of medium turquoise interior in the Canadian Chevelles & Beaumonts that year (was available in U.S. Chevelles).
In the U.S. you could order Butternut Yellow with Turquoise and it actually didn't clash. I have seen a Canadian Butternut Yellow car with Medium Blue interior and it was, well, different. Then there was that 6-cylinder 1967 Pontiac 2+2 in Emerald Turquoise with red interior (not as bad as you would think...)
In Canada your car with a bench seat only came in cloth & vinyl. You can readily get all-vinyl upholstery to recover them, but the correct cloth will be difficult and expensive. You could try SMS in Oregon for the new-old-stock cloth, but it will be pricey and will then need an experienced upholstery shop to cut and sew it in.

Thank you for the valuable information that you provided to me and the compliment on the Beaumont. I had a look at the trim tag under the hood last evening and I recall seeing those same numbers that you mentioned.
The Beaumont came with the owner's manual and protect-o-plate booklet and I see that this car was sold in Swan River Manitoba in Sept, 1967. The car appears to be unique!
Once I have a closer look at the seats I'll be able to determine if it is a repair job or a reproduction set that I go with. Either way, this Beaumont is going to be joy to spend time on! Any idea what the 10-bolt will have for ratio or would there be a tag on the diff indicating that?
Thanks kelico! Yeah, gotta love them all! I've had the Camaro 15 years now. I'm currently in the middle of an upgrade with it; that being a 427 small block. Having updated the trans a few years back to a 6-speed Magnum Tremec it will be a good ride! Nice Beaumont too!

3.08:1. On your car the 3.08 would be the only ratio unless it originally was a 230 with a 3-speed manual, in which case it would have been a 3.36. All Powerglide cars, plus all 250s, 283s & 327s would have come with the 3.08. If it was a factory 327 with a 4-speed it would have come with a 12-bolt 3.07:1 rear. In Canada that year there were no factory optional ratios on Beaumonts or Chevelles, you got whatever was assigned.

That's a good ratio for that combination; I can see why they chose that. Thanks for this info. When I was looking at my engine compartment tag. at the bottom behind the D99 is has a M35. any idea what this represents?

The last comment re bench seats with cloth and vinyl is true...I don't think anyone reproduces this as a stock item...I've been talking to a local shop and if you id the cloth the shop can make a custom order from one of the larger suppliers and the covers will arrive ready to install.....for a price....I'm kinda too chicken to ask......what the surcharge is....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now that has me thinking and thank you for your continued assistance! In the weeks ahead I'll come to a decision on whether to go with vinyl or cloth/vinyl but it would be interesting to find out what the custom made set would run. The car hasn't run in over 20 years so there's going to be alot of freshening under the hood. I see trans fluid on the garage floor now so the pan is going to need a new gasket. Perhaps that will need a freshening too. Question, did the Beaumonts come with a build sheet and where would that be located, tucked inside the rear seat springs?
I would fully expect to find the Canadian equivalent of a build sheet - the "Line 100" tag, hog-ringed to the underside of your rear seat cushion base. You really won't find anything startling on it that you can't tell from your Trim Tag on the firewall. I would expect colour (L), trim (728), plus any optional extras designated by their RPO (Regular Production Option) codes. I would guess on your car D99, M35, P58, P01, U63. Wait, it was sold new in Regina? Add K05, K79, T60 (all stuff of interest to the bitter cold of the Praries).
The Trim Tag on the firewall does not list all the options, just the ones that Fisher Body needed to concern themselves with: D99, M35. Other stuff like a radio (U63), wheelcovers (P01 or P02), tires (there's a list of possible tires, but P57 is the standard tire), all that and anything else would be listed on the Line 100 tag. I have a picture of mine somewhere but not scanned; the hard copy could be anywhere after we did a major house renovation.
Just a thought, but if fading on the top of your seat backs is the only reason you want to consider new upholstery, I would seriously consider redying the seat cloth first. Finding a match for your shade of blue might take some searching but it may be the best option. Don't bugger a nice original seat because of a little fading.
My original cloth on my bench seats are in great shape but faded in the same places you mentioned on your car. Funny thing, the Line 100 tag on the bottom of my seat lists as being for a "135 73517", meaning it could have been dropped into either a Chevelle or a Beaumont. They literally came down the same line one after another, and with exception of the dash & steering column were just the same for 1967.
My car is very similar to yours but it is in a dark green, J-code Verde Green, with black interior. Mine has a stock 250 six while yours was probably a 283 V8.
