Newbie from Melbourne, Australia.

Hi All,

My name is John, I own a 1968 Australian delivered Pontiac Parisienne 4 door hardtop pillarless.
My dad bought this new and has now been passed onto me :)
We had great times in this car, many holidays towing the caravan, it never seemed to let us down.

I just wanted to say hello everyone and post a view photos of the old beast,
my grandmother use to call it the "great white pointer"

cheers
John

Thanks guys,

Just a little info on the car for people asking...

It is the original paint job, apart from the front left guard from when dad did a u-turn in front of a 1981 XD V8 Ford.
The front bumper got pushed 1 inch across and the guard got replaced, mind you the XD Ford was classed as a write off!

Interior photos...this is where it needs some work, the right hand drivers door/arm rest and seat needs re-doing, I just
received most of the door/window/trunk rubbers from pontiworld.com.au, I must say Dave from pontiworld knows his stuff,
On both times I spoke with him he was very helpful and delivered the next morning (great service) thanks for the links Stealth68! <<-rubbers getting done this weekend if I get a chance.

I will post some interior photos when I next pull it out from the garage (small garage...ponti takes all the room)

cheers all, and thanks again!

John

 Those damn F**ds! biggrin

Great that you can get some parts Down Under. Are "other" parts plentiful for right-hand drives? Chev Impalas, Belairs?

Welcome John, Great looking old girl, methinks I spot an LPG/Propane system under the hood.
Running that myself only a wee bit bigger with two 600 CFM mixers.
