I see a Canadian Pontiac version of the Black Widow.
There were fewer restrictions on getting a Fuel Injected 283 on a Canadian Pontiac than in the U.S., where you had to shell out big time for a Bonneville convertible with a 347.
Black Widow indeed. Or maybe a dual quad 283 with twin WCFB carbs. Or a hot six. Or an LS motor...
I like it. Lots of directions you could go with it.

I don't judge a man by how far he's fallen, but by how far back he bounces - Patton
Nice car by the way - you guys just threw me off my train of thought with the Newfie reference. We don't call ourselves by that name out here.
John, my neighbour, car buddy & car club member, & Newfie, must have been here too long, as he refers to it as "Newfie" every summer, when he leaves here in June & comes back in Sept. It's always "goin back to Newfie for the summer [just outside of Grandbank] I sometimes have trouble with his 'accent' but after a summer out there, & I have to start all over again!!!

I know what you mean Pete. When I'm out west and talk to the many expat Newfoundlanders I know, I sometimes hear that too. I think the people that use the term do so fondly. All I meant was that I don't hear it around the home base too often. And yes you do have to have an ear for some of the unique accents.
You should hear some of the "tick" accents and wording on PEI. It all depends what part of this tiny Island they are from ... but they all pronounce Toronto TOR-ON-TOE here (correctly) unlike me saying TERRANNA.

Good one Randy!
