'60 Studebaker Hawk - NB

Anyone notice the 71 Continental in the background. Wonder if this was the dad's also.

Looks good, or else the rust is well hidden. Looks like all the chrome is there and very good!

Here's a '60 Hawk that has managed to survive our Maritime climate surprisingly well. Someone, who stopped by to look at it, suggested that the car may not have come from here. I don't know, point is , it is not all rusted to pieces!! You'll have to check it out and decide for yourself. The seats and carpets are available... I just left them out so you could see the floors. The car does drive well, it just won't stop. My father was working on brakes before he passed away. It will need some TLC to be a great car, but it's a Studebaker worth saving. Have a look at the photos(there's lots of them),and call 634-7087 or email if you're interested. Thanks for looking

Shouldn't be moused, it appears the 4 legged mouse trap has been patrolling the floors!

Some had Packard V8 motors. The fins were fiberglass. Wonder what engine this car has?

That Stude is surprisingly solid. As Brian states the fins were bolt on fiberglass pieces. You have to admit Studebaker was pretty ingenious in the ways they saved money trying to compete with the Big 3.

I had a wood shop teacher Mr Knabe at Cedarbrae High. He owned a Packard Hawk, V8 3sp column shift. I did some work on it and remember that it had lots of power for a car of that vintage. His car was all silver 1958 year.
