Interesting item ... is it NOS? Looks like it's electro-mechanical ... I've heard that some of these cruise controls are unreliable.

they work but on vacum and electrical potential, nowhere neer the newer eletronic ones

that would be the regulator unit, its still has points and moving parts in it, unlike the modern versions
