Solid Flat Tappet?

Just a question, are the Lifters in the 283 engines Solid Flat tappet? or is it possible they are Hydraulic Flat Tappet?

They are hydraulic in all 283's except some Corvettes.

You can actually test it by removing the valve cover and pushing down on a rocker arm. You won't be able to collapse a solid one!
