ill try and get some pics, the corner ones need to go on first, and the smaller ones go in the stainless slide the stainless over the end ones and put your screws in the anchor the trim in place then the coul just clips in under. at both ends there two plastic levelers most times they are broken off,they bolt under the fenders.

Does someone have a picture of a 66 (and likely 65) full size with the cowl panel at the base of the windshield removed? I pulled mine off months ago, labeled the clips but I can't remember for nothing how the clips mount on the body at the back of the panel. I know which is right side up because of the mark on the clip from the bolt head, but it's one of 3 ways, and none make sense.
In the second picture, I show the 3 ways it could be from what I can figure. Anyone know which clip is correctly positioned?

Yes, the black plastics are broken off. I am assuming those are a dam to keep the water from running in the corner, down the cowl and finding it's way into the interior right in the corner of the firewall and floor pan?
A picture of the corner installed would be great because I can't figure out how it should sit.

Howdy guys I'm kind of in the same boat as carl. i took my windshield out some ago and I was hoping the correct way to put it back together would magically occur to me when the time came. Thanks old 65 wagon buddy!
(I think the pastic thingys were partly to correctly line up the windshield)

I'm not depressed, just crabby. Part of my problem is that as a chronic proctrastinator i can't actully get anything done unless I have a scary deadline, even an activity as enjoyable as working on my Pontiac.
just a weird guy. I'll for sure be a blur of frantic car bashing in the middle of April though.
