From Hazelridge Manitoba

Hi all, my name is Jim, and I have just acquired a 1968 Parisienne 2 door hard top. It has a 350HP 327, Automatic anIsis in great shape. It has a bench seat and column shift, which is something I want to change. I want buckets and console. The only thing it needs is the emblem in the centre of the front bumper.

Welcome aboard. Do you have any photos of your car? You can sometimes find NOS nose emblems on Ebay.

Welcome here Jim. There's a couple of site members here that are on your side of the city.

For the record, a group of us Manitobans from this site get together for a coffee every month or two. Of course, we just met yesterday, so now it will be a bit! Keep an eye on here and you'll get to know a bunch of Canadian Poncho members in southern Manitoba.

And I for one would like to see pictures of your car.

That sure does look nice. Welcome from Regina.

You know that with a bench seat you can do C O D corners? Come on Over Darling, hard right makes her slide right up tight.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

Question about those nose emblems. Would other years fit? What about other model Pontiacs like firebird etc?

Welcome Jim from Canada's east coast. Like the colour combo of your car. What colour interior is in it?

Welcome Jim, that's one very nice 68.

One question; is that a single line master? I thought all GM's 65 and up had a dual system standard.

Wow, good eye. I've never seen a single on anything other than 66 or older either. That's a head scratcher!

A lot of early car owners convert their single master cylinders to duals for safety reasons, but not the other way around.

Welcome from Quebec city. Last summer I've made the switch from full bench to buckets.I've put a correct consol (thanks to my bodys at canadian poncho ) ,also change the dash and the column.

I used the Procar seat rally 1000 series.
