fuel line with a 283


i ordered   a 5/16  line  for  my  car , was that  the  right one  ?

I HAVE  THIS THING  FOR  A 4 DOOR 65  BISCAYNE  6 CYL  STD  DONT KNOW  WHY ?

If it's a mild-ish small displacement engine 5/16 would be fine  

If you are going to build a 350 that revs to 7k then 3/8th's line would be in order.

5/16 is correct,  thats the way to go

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

Yes, the only 2 exceptions to the 2 barrel rule that I've seen would be 350 2 barrels with the big 2 barrel had a 3/8 line and some early 4 barrel 283's had a 5/16 line.

i am running a 600 cfm carb............. i wanted to go original ,but i did not consider the 4 barrel carb that will be on the 283

i thought if i put a 3/8 line i could of starved the engine . Any way , it is not a considerable difference in size
