Well congrats on your car being featured and it is indeed gorgeous as I have seen it a couple of times at the Penticton peach city beach cruise. Never had a chance to meet up with you but hopefully can sometime. I saw the street sweeper out yesterday so hopefully we can enjoy these cars shortly. Beautiful ride.

Lawrence Morgan is one lucky guy. Why? He's the owner of this fantastic (and rare) 1967 Acadian Canso Sport Deluxe. This super clean Acadian has all the right bits to make me proud to feature it this month. Lawrence gives us the scoop:
We bought our car out of Vernon BC from an old friend, that had had it for years, but never thought he would be interested in selling it. It was purchased in April of 2009. I had seen it in 2007 and definitely liked from that moment. Since purchasing the Acadian I have redone the front end, taking it all apart, cleaning it up, repainting parts, had the whole front end realigned. We changed the exhaust to a mandrel bent 21/2" system, replaced the clutch and changed the rally wheels.
The car is a 1967 Acadian Canso Sport Deluxe, with an L30 327, a M20 Muncie 4 speed trans. We have all the paperwork from GM Canada. We have tried to keep it as stock as possible.
Future plans for our Acadian, is much of what we have been doing. Taking it to as many car shows as possible, showing it off and meeting other car people like ourselves. We especially like taking it to the United States as they don't see these Canadian cars too often.
one of my all time favorite cars growing up having a friend with a blue/ blue one same drive train. Black/ Black makes this one perfect. Great choise for sure!
