stock 283 breather for 1967

I have seen 2 types, but here is mine.  They both seem to be correct for canadian cars,  one was probably heavy duty,  but not totally sure

Both use the same base, but one has a taller lid

I want to know what the breather looks like specifically for a 1967 283 engine.  Thanks

Crankcase breather?Theres the beehive pots behind the distributor that connect to a PCV valve(you can still by a factory hose from GM and the beehive and correct PVC from a corvette restoration company.I've used Long Island Corvette. They have tons of original type stuff.

Looks totally stone stock correct to me,  the tower hose clamps, greay pulleys, fuel line bends, etc, ect,   a real time capsule and holy crap,  it even has the original? spring ring battery cables!!!!

Please paint the oil cap orange with NO decal tho,  then its perfect

does the decal on the air cleaner say econoflame?  if so, it is the original for sure without question

Thanks guys. I didn't have another to compare it to. Someone I know thought it wasn't original but I thought it had to be. As for the oil cap i'll get it painted at some point. Fixing the fenders are first order of business.

I just noticed in that other pic the oil cap is also blue like mine so is it correct?  I'm sure though that if beaumontguru says it isn't then i'll paint it and get rid of the sticker.

No, it should be orange. As far as I've seen, the blue ones were always parts counter replacements. Dave will know for sure though.

You will notice the blue one is bigger and a different style as well.

The oil cap is AC Delco. The sticker on the air cleaner is U.S.

The Delco sticker makes sense. I've been in the parts business long enough to remember selling a few of those! Likely 6419440 if I am thinking of the right one. I can't remember the short AC Delco part number.

We have to find you an original though because that engine compartment is saying "survivor" so loud! I may have one if nobody steps up sooner to help.
