RE: 67 Beaumont SW Pic

A quick point of clarity - the last time this car was for sale was when my dad bought it back in 67-68.

I think maybe that was B bodies only Darryl, big blocks and wagons got bigger rims.

You are correct,  64-67 chevelle/beaumont wagons did NOT have wider rims,  all A-bodys had the 14x5 steelies

Love it!!  (The flowers on top make it look a little like a hearse though.  Steel wheels and dog dish would be an awesome touch.)

Thanks for sharing!

My mom and dad bought a brand new Malibu wagon in 66. Amazingly enough, that car was pretty much accepted. My brother bought the car when my mom got her new Malibu sedan in Dec 71 and he turned it in to a race car, sadly. At that time a few 66-67 Beaumont and Chevelle wagons showed up in our area.

I know what you mean though. In those days, a 2 dr ht with buckets was cool...

If i had the choice of buying a cheetah, 68-69 SD, or this wagon,   i would pic the wagon.

Even if the cheetah or SD car was 1/2 the price of the wagon,  i would still pic the wagon.  Coolest beaumont ever!

Never new what a Cheetah was until I looked it up - way cool.  My Beaumont in this league - seriously!!  Once the weather warms ups (ie - May or so) I will clean her up and take a whole bunch of pics and send along (with a detailed write up) for a future feature vehicle.

You had me at "hello"... but lost me at "Cheetah".
I would have to go with the Cheetah, but I love the wagon.
