1966 PONTIAC BEAUMONT FOR SALE

Pics leave a bit to be desired.

What's up with the blue floors?  Didn't I read somewhere that they were all painted blue on the undersides, etc., regardless of the exterior colour?

My Canadian '67 Chevelle has body colour on the floors inside & out, which happens to be dark green. The underneath was factory fogged with black sound deadener in key areas after that.

I would agree with you on that, based on the Beaumonts I've seen. Not sure about the Chevelles.

Do you not think this car could well be a factory blue car and that is why the floors are blue?

You are correct. It says that in the ad.

Sorry, didn't read the ad carefully enough - colour was disguised in pseudo-english. biggrin

Plus, the blue dash should have tipped me off... no

I did get my question answered... sorta.  Seems like most were body colour inside and blue underside.

Still don't have a clear idea as to why they were blue underside, and was that only for Canadian production?  If so, why???
