I am wondering if anybody out there knows if the 572 BBC motor will  fit under 1969 Big Block Hood?  If not what size cowl induction hood will I need?   Thanks

what is your car?  A-body, F-body, etc?    I suspect you'd be ok for an A-body, but not an F-body.

From reading the thread on team chevelle I posted above, I don't think it will fit a stock hood.

With a 572 in the frame rails  you don't need no stinkin hood   lol lol

Depends on what intake manifold you will use, a smaller dual plane should work. The engine size dont really matter much. Even if its a tall deck (10.2'') it wont change things as much as a taller manifold.
