1963 Pontiac Strato-Chief bought by original owner in 62. Had 20000 miles when passed down in 96. Was a daily driver until 2009. It does not have the original motor in it but the original does come with the sale. Both motors are Straight 6, 230's. Not Registered. Not on the road. Fires right up and could be a head turner once more!!
As is where is. I need this thing gone. Cash talks, make me an offer.
4 doors are rare you know!. I once had a customer come in who had just purchased a 57 Chevy 4 door that needed a ton of sheet metal. The seller had told him the reason you never saw 4 doors a car shows was because they were very rare.
Looks like it might have the infamous rubber carpeting that was on a lot of el-cheapo cars back in the day (though not sure if it was offered in Pontiacs). If that's the case, they are notorious for holding water in between the "carpet" and the floor pans, pretty much guaranteeing floor rust-through over time.
MY '64 LAURENTIAN HAS THE RUBBER MAT FLOOR AS WELL AS PRISTINE FLOOR PANS...GOTTA LOVE ALBERTA CARS!
35 YEARS COVERED IN A SHED MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT THOUGH...

Does Radio & Clock "DELETE" count as Extremely RARE or Extremely CHEAP on original owners part??? Car looks solid & price isn't all that bad if it's as good as it looks?? Could likely get it for less, seller sounds like he will negotiate!!

Canadian car Look at the floor at drivers feet it rotten frame will be the same
Yeah, that's the pic that got me wondering...
FWIW, I've seen it on kijiji from time to time for the last couple of years, originally asking $3500. I searched around and found an old ad for it that I had saved:
Was interested in it back then, but the seller wouldn't answer any of my questions about rust condition, so I moved on.
Looks like sitting outside all this time hasn't done it any favours. Too bad.
That being said, it looks like the seller is motivated on price now, so it may be worth taking a chance on but you'd definitely want to get a good look underneath first.

Could be just NB red mud and snow tracked into the car, but it appears that the bottom of the passenger side door panel is "bubbling".

From the pic, I've gotta agree with Carl. The mat looks kinda wavy - almost like it's falling into a large hole in the floor pan...
Also, including the door panel, there's lots of signs of moisture damage inside that car, so I'd have to say... rust. (St. Andrew's is right on the Bay of Fundy, so there's lots of humidity in the air around that area).
Just my speculation without actually seeing the car in person.

You mean the pee stain on the seat "cover"?
