trunk paint on 63 Acadian


After much reading i think my trunk should be painted body colour and

not "trunk Splatter"

Am i correct ?

Agreed, I don't think I'd go to the trouble of changing it just for the sake of being correct.

you are probably right, better things to do first and it would probably scratch up to fast.

The Corvair looks good    but I don't think your car would be any better with body paint    After 50 years who knows or cares....

I think the trunk looks great too.If you were going to restore your car and start sanding and making a huge mess again,then go for it.Trunk looks great the way it is,I wouldn't bother.
