Three 15" rims off a 1960

I've got three original 15" rims "for sale" off my 60 Brookwood wagon I cannot use anymore as Ive gone to a disc setup. I think they sat in Nailheads feild in Saskatchewan for most of their life. I'm in Armstrong BC, so if youre interested, come get them, theyre free.

Well thats weird because the rims have every appearance of being stock (same color as the car, very old bias plys on them) but maybe they were swapped over in the 60's. For some reason I thought wagons had a 15" option for rims.
Another funny thing about my brookwood is it is a 6 cyl car with a 283 in it that coded to 1961. The owner likely bought the car and decided the 235 wasnt enough for him and had it swapped out soon after

Wagon rims were 14 x 6.

Mark it's possible these were an optional wheel . There was A 15 X5K wheel part #3794464 which later superceded to 3834956. This shows up in a 1938-1966 Chevrolet parts catalogue I was looking in. Could be a rare wheel.

Nailhead, the 283 I pulled out of the car was a 61 block, so maybe he beefed it up after a year from a donor car or something. Whatever it is, whoever wants them can come and get em! Theyre free! I'll even leave the "gulf" brand winter bias plys on. I'll probably throw in a v8 bellhousing and some exhaust manifolds too.
