What is one worth? I have a single wheel still with the stickers on it in my garage. Never had a tire mounted.

Only takes a couple of minutes to do....

When I go to the local Pick n Pull to look for particular rims,I always take a pattern of the lug holes on a small aluminium disc

to make sure it's the same and also taking a measure of the offset isn't a bad idea either.

You have to be careful buying these at swap meets or the likes because not only did G.M. have these rims but so did Ford, Dodge and even AMC and if not mistaken were all made by Kelsey-Hayes. I heard horror stories from other customers that paid good money for G.M. rims only to find out they were the others, so buyer be ware when dealing with unknown sources. d.

You can buy nicer re-pros on E-Bay and  interent with free shipping to borders

Why trust 40-50 year old steel?

and dates?  who the hell is down on their knees checking out you stupid numbers disbelief

         ( trailer queens maybe)

I'll take good rust free 40-50 year old GM steel anyday over cheaper chinese repro steel. Junk. disbelief

X2.  I hear horror stories every single day. I estimate that approx 75% of reproduction parts and pieces are a waste of time and money. (Unless your hard up or just flipping a car). Sorry for hi-jacking your post, but it had to be said!!

They sell these light plastic gauges that have every (big 3) bolt pattern on them for easy ID ... easy to carry with you.

Not nessasary Carl, I rarely hear complaints of interior upholstery products, what I hear all the time and (see on here as well) is mostly the repro fenders and quarters and hoods and lids. Also things like bumpers, misc mldgs etc, thats the 75% I hear about, our sponsor sells the other 25% thats good to use. Keep up the good work NOS. d.

I was looking at the US reproduction wheels for my car.

Any reviews I came across basically stated that the quality of the products depended on the quality of the dealer.

Some are out for a quick buck, others, have been around for years.

15X8 SILVER PONTIAC RALLYE II SERIES 60 WHEEL W/ 5X4.75 PATTERN & 4.5 BS

So at $600 a set + shipping (without caps or rings) it seemed not bad but I had no knowledge of the manufacturer.

A straight set of GM rims (verified with the codes by the valve stems) seemed the better way to go.

So $200 + $200 for blasting and paint, I'm happy.

That was until I popped the trim rings onto my car's existing wheels. confuse

(Internet pic not mine)

Anyways, I think $350 for a good straight set, with new paint, from a member, is a pretty good deal.
