1967 (to be confirmed) engine block assembly. Was running..

Well, I have decided to pull the plug on my old 283 block.   I came about this block in an unusual way.   A friend was into Wreckem races and had a real sweet motor that he used as his primary motor.  He had an aversion to using big station wagons  and was rather successful at the bump and banging.  He had pulled this old motor out of the station wagon and offered it to me for sale.

At that time my 67 Impala was burning a little oil and it needed to be refreshed.   I took some time to collect up all of the performance parts that I wanted then I dropped in the donor motor while mine was being built.

Dyno run showed 195 hp with headers and intake and new 4 barrel.  It was run on the dyno for an hour before I took possession of it.  But that is my current engine.

The engine has sat under the bench of my unheated storage unit for far too many years and I really dont think I am going to do anything with it.

Will need to be rebuilt.

The oil pan must have a leak as their is a quantity of oil underneath it along with a liberal amount of soaked speedy dry.

The carb, intake and manifolds are all there

Interested?????

$250.00 And I will help you load it up...

Cliff

I will try to get some photos soon for those interested.

I am willing to hold the purchase price until you have decided that the block and all is well.  Don't want to sell something defective.
