I am pretty sure this car was on here last spring for sale also, not a bad price if the frame, floors, and trunk etc. are solid. To far to ship to B C. All the Novas and Acadians that come up for sale seem to be in the east.

If it's as nice as it looks, that's a deal.

Sixes and jack rabbits have a similar survival rate on this yard.

Ted, this would be a car that you wouldn't have to figure in shipping.  It would be a great excuse for an east coast holiday and by the looks of it you would have a great cross Canada trip driving that home to the Island.  You were sort of looking for one weren't you?

Hi Jeral : Yes I would like one of these, but it would be a long  drive home . Quite sure that it would be cheaper to have it shipped. I was tempted by this one last year as well.

How ironic would that be?  Somebody from BC coming to Nova Scotia to buy a car?  It so often happens the other way... maybe time for some payback?  biggrin

Seriously guys what do you think of the price? Carl's SS Nova was rust free andwas a SS (buckets, consul, v8,& original air)? I think he wanted about 15 G. Needed paint, interior , and motor rebuild. This car may have a few rust issues, likely could use a paint job,and who knows about the motor.i prefer a  v8 &.I personally think Carl's car would ultimately have made a much nicer car in the end for probably the same investment. Better idea to buy a SD or SS that someone else has sank  60G into, for 30 G. There are lots out there right now in this market.

Why would you not rent a barge, and go to Carls place and float  the white SD home    and be done...

He lives on the Red River near Morris...

with the savings  biggrin send the wife to the Maritimes

West Jet is having a seat sale wink

apples and oranges but I agree and wanted to say it -Carl's car was a better deal - if you plan on building this car beyond what it is yes spend more and get more with a different car - this car appeals to the 10k marketplace and is good value in that marketplace

I agree, my car in the 15K range was a deal if you buy anything that needs rust repair. Funny thing was, a number of guys kind of laughed when I gave them a price. I hope they buy a rusty car and start writing cheques to restore it!

With this car, a guy would need to be happy with a nice looking driver and not want to make it perfect. If he wanted to do that I'm guessing he be in way too deep.

I agree wholeheartedly.  The beauty of this car is that it appears to be a nice well-preserved original that needs to be enjoyed as is, patina and all.  There are better choices out there to hot rod IMHO.

This is literally the exact car I'm ripping apart to restore at the moment... Does anyone know how many 67 canso's were made in maroon? Mine's due for paint but I'm wondering if I should keep the original colour for value sake. Not that it's going anywhere haha! Just curious.
