upgrading a 200 power glide from 67 acadian?

Hello: I need tech help, i want to upgrade a 200 powerglide that was for a 67 acaidian. it has a upgraded out put shaft, and i want to use it behind a 350  chev V8. ,for hiway ,not racing. i was told that the trans is strong enough to handle  a 350. i intend to use original torque converter  and go to manual valve body.I could  install 350 turbo trans parts but on a budget. need to find out how to drill valve body for manual shift control, no carb kickdown to be used.what starter  is stock ? or i could use a 350 flex plate and starter on the 350 engine?  not sure about stall speed for hiway use? not racing it.What was original stall speed?
