could anyone tell me where I would find a measurement from the front of trans to center of shifter on a 67 2+2? and maybe offset from center of trans. thanks

I have the hump, soon to get a console, have pedals, shifter will come with trans. I am thinking of a Keisler 5 speed, low gear to get big thing rolling and low rpm for the cruse. that's why I was looking for the measurement for shifter so they can match my hump and console, guess I will have to measure it when I get home, I should be able to get it from bell housing and hump underneath. I thought it would be easier if someone had the trans sitting out could measure from where the trans bolts to bell housing to get an idea where the shifter should be. I also got power vent windows and some stuff for power windows. I found 3 of the 4 under dash switches, r/speaker, r/defrost and power antenna. Don't worry Brett I am keeping all original stuff to put it back when numbers match 283 gets done. Thanks for all your help, wagon
thanks guys, I need to get measurement of shifter location on trans, that info is excellent for my use, but the guys at Keisler don't have my hump to measure from. I was thinking their trans would be same at bell housing, so if I had the measurements from front of trans to center of shifter and offset, the shifter would come up thru hole with no cutting. This post will defiantly help me when time comes to put mine together. one good thing is I don't have the hump welded in yet. Thanks
