Paint detailing question

On the chrome pieces of the grilles for the 66 and 67 car that are accented with black, what's the best paint and way to get them painted to look good?  Especially on re-chromed pieces.

The spaces are pretty small, you know the grooves in between some areas. Can that paint be sprayed out onto something and applied by a brush? Do you need to sand the chrome at all?

Wipe and wash should fine, if possible a light scuff with scotch brite, but shouldn't be necessary.

it comes in quarts for about $35 ,  you should have no problem spraying some out into a cup and brushing itAn bout $14 for a bomb

I've brushed mine on...Remember spray bomb stuff is really thinned out...you might want to let it sit out for a bit before doing the first coats... If you're picky you can use a quality brush vs the small cheap craft brushes... The paint settles and you won't see any brush marks. Did you paint the silver already?
