Starting to organize my 1950 Pontiac Catalina "Old School Build"

I have finally gotten around to rolling the 50 2dr hdtp out and sorting through the parts.  I have located the motor I will be using and I do want to lower the front a little prior to taking it over for a couple patch panels.

I would enjoy corresponding with anyone familiar with the 49-52 models.  I do not have a clue of the interchangeability of parts from these years.  I know right now I do need a deck lid and I do not believe one will fit from a sedan.  I'm looking forward to using as many original pieces as possi ble with an upgraded drivetrain.

Things got a lot easier once I figured out the rear lugs were left hand threaded.

Interested in any thoughts, experience or parts available,

thanks,  Norm

So does that mean you are not going with a stock 239 c.i. 6 cyl?
As far as interchange goes- chassis parts will be interchangeable with '49-'52 Chev and Poncho.
