I noticed it doesn't have the 9 fins on the front quarter panels. Was that an option?

That's part of it's uniqueness, it's not an SD but just a Canso sport coupe. Extremely unusual.

Glad to hear you sold it Bil, assuming that is what you wanted!

Will we see the new owner on here, do you think?

Carl,

New owner is a collector but not of Canadian Ponchos.  He has lots of high dollar cars. He'll know about the sight , hopefully he'll visit.

I didn't want to sell it, but I had an opportunity to buy a Baldwin Motion Chevelle project and  a new 427 Corvette Convert and something had to go!!

I still have a 67 big block convert and my dads 68 big block convertible . I really like the  66 and up Beaumonts and Chevelles. If I could find a 66 Big Block convertible

I'd have to make room somehow.  Also always on the prowl for a real Cheetah car. That would really leave  my american car show friends in a tizzy.......

Thanks Todd. Musclecar CPR out of Monacca PA did the resto. It's a small shop owned by Chuck Huber. They specialize in GM Supercar restos. Mainly Yenkos , Copo's , ZL1'S .....This was his first Canadian Poncho. A great place to do business with. I could not have been happier with their work or their prices.

Bill

The owner is a nice guy, very down to earth. Saw this car a couple of weeks ago when I toured his collection. He had a 66 L79 Nova SS parked next to it, made for an interesting comparison.

Bill.

The real elusive CHEETAH.

it does exist!!.

There is one out here in Vancouver area.

If Canada day is nice it will likely be at the Canada day show at jellybean park in Langley

The owner knows it is worth Platinum and will probably be buried in it.

If it helps you can contact the owner of BOWTIE Restorations in Langley BC.

They are personal friends.

Ken
