RE: The cat is starting to choke...,

I had the Acadian over 26 years, not like I'm a flipper!

Other GP 4 speed I think was 8 1/2 years.

congrats... I had no idea what you were talking about in the thread...so you had a 65 Acadian and let it go...and you had a 65 Nova SS and you let it go... maybe you're a "full size" kind of guy, with big stick and all... what does it need to be certified? looks like a great car... have fun

My heart is torn, Acadians and GP's but when I absolutely HAVE to pick I still will pick a GP. It's pretty close to a toss up though.

The whole idea with doing all this is to get down to one toy. We hope to downsize our real estate in a few years. This 35 acres is a bit much!

Always thought that white one was the car for you Carl. Glad to see you made it happen.

Funny thing is, I will likely show up on Tuesday night pulling my car trailer but it should be empty. I am likely hauling a car to Stony first. My boss sold one of the back lot "beaters" and it needs to get out there. I told him I'd take it Tuesday.

No, I'm not the flipper Carl I'm afraid. Unless over 6 years with the Nova, or 26 1/2 years with the same Acadian is a flipper!

I still don't know which GP will go, one will have to. Neither one showed up here with me planning to move it along, but one of them will HAVE to eventually.

If my kids had both wanted an old car instead of newer Firebirds when they turn 21, both the 67 Nova SS and the 65 Canso SD would still be here. They would leave when the kids moved out but still stay in the family. I had arranged "visiting and driving" rights with them for those cars when they left!

Although when it comes to parts I certainly do my share of flipping! Actually, these days, I call it cleanup and downsizing!

So, you know what you have to do really.  Hi grade the best stuff off both cars, make one really great one and sell the other which will be a pretty cool car in any case.

If you still have leftover goodies sell them to the old hoarder (me) and viola, downsized.  I will have to do the same someday but I'm not quite there yet

I look forward to seeing lots of detailed pics of that car Michael. What a cool piece of 1966 Canadian Poncho history!
