First grill picture fooled me for a sec.....

I hope it's not going to be a trailer queen.

This car needs movement.

Looks fast.

So here's the skinny;I bought this car sight unseen 3 months ago on the advice of my best friend in vancouver.I finally got down from the interior of bc last weekend to pick it up from the old boy that owned it,and I was not dissapointed,I drove it the wife has driven it and it is as billed A quick well mannered nicely finished Acadian! 468" bbc th350 tricked up with a 3300stall TCS converter 3:73 12 bolt which was the Original rear end........Going thru the apple box of reciepts last night I came upon the GM archive sheet which the 2nd owner got from Gm in 2001......1970 pontiac acadian SS 350...trim 741 med gold...paint 58 granada gold produced in willow run michigan...shipped to Trapp Motors new west bc oct 8 1969..71427 2dr cpe 350 cid 300hp v-8 1282 cars of same model # only in canada w-84 add fuel f-41 suspension f62 front springs g-32 rear springs jl-2 disc brakes j-50 vac power brakes l-48 engine 350 cu.in v-8 m-20 4speed transmission wide ratio n-66 wheels rally type pl-1 e-70 -14-b 2+2 tires hwy bb white stripe u-63 radio pushbutton a/m u76 windshield antannae zj1 custom interior zj5 exterior decor zk8 tire press sticker zl3 ss body conversion z26 super sport so all in all im pretty ok with what i have i have already tracked down the guy who converted the car from 4spd to auto and we are trying to find the whereabouts of the transmission as fo a 300 hp I do have one out of a 1970 camaro Hope this clears up some questions to the hardcores---even if this thing had been a 6 cyl clone car I would have been happy...but now i'm real happy...Todd

That is a beautiful car....brings back a lot of memories. My grandfather had a 1970 Pontiac Acadian. I actually still have his "one wheel" heilite camper trailer he towed behind the car. Probably enjoyed correcting people that it wasn't a nova it's an Acadian built in Canada. Great car!!!

ACTUALLY, I BELIEVE ACADIANS WERE BUILT IN THE STATES AT THE WILLOW RUN PLANT.
