I don't even know if this stuff exists but i thought i'd put it out there. I'd like to find magazine/newspaper/print ads for 1967 Beaumonts. I know it means going through old magazines like Macleans and other Canadian publications but if you have them and don't mind looking i really would appreciate it and hopefully get my hands on a couple.
found some for my 63 from Mcleans and made the mistake of putting them in cheap frames
and displaying the at shows, washed the colour right out of them.
now im looking for some to replace them..

when you find them - laser copy them - use the copies to display
Yes Carl you got it. The car is parked in the intersection to my eye of Front and Wellington, a rare triangular intersection of two streets with the Iconic Gooderham or Flatiron Building as a backdrop.
Even I recognized the building. When I was in Ottawa in the late 80's, one of the events I worked was the 1988 G7 Conference in Toronto. The host broadcaster had a bookable camera position with the Flatiron Building in the background.

Thanks Ken. I hadn't heard of that magazine and i imagine it's hard to find. I see someone has the entire run available electronically. I wrote to see if i could pay for just the ads i want so i can print them off.
I was interested in seeing if any of the advertising was different, unique to being put into magazines. Just thought if it was it would be something different to have.
The "London Room" at the main public library in London has all the London Free Press editions on Microfiche. I spent a couple of hours there one Saturday looking at all the cool ads from Central Chev , London Motor Products, Sinclair Pontiac and Eastown Chev. You'll find Beaumont ads there. You can photocopy right from the Micro Fiche. Not perfect quality mind you but cool to have.
The red-brickGooderham Building (commonly referred to as theFlatiron Building) is a historic landmark of Toronto, Ontario, Canadalocated at 49 Wellington Street East. On the eastern edge of the city'sFinancial District (east of Yonge Street), it is in the St. Lawrenceneighbourhood wedged between Front Street and Wellington Street, where they join up to form a triangular intersection. Completed in 1892, it was an early example of a prominent flatiron building.
The Gooderham Building is the focal point of one of Toronto's most iconic vistas: looking west down Front Street towards the building's prominent rounded corner, framed on the sides by the heritage commercial blocks along Front Street, and with the skyscrapers of the Financial District towering in the background. The CN Tower is also visible from certain angles behind Brookfield Place. This vista frequently appears in imagery of the city.

I went for a tour of the inside of the "Flat Iron Building" during Doors Open. There is a secret tunnel under Wellington to it's money vault. There are several of these type of buildings located across North America.

The guy that has Track & Traffic on CD looked through the issues from Sept 66 to Sept 67 and couldn't find any Beaumont ads, all he found were ads for Camaros. That's a shame because seeing the ads posted here is great but i can't copy them. At least i know the ads exist and what to look for. I'll have to try what Todd suggested and try the library.
I have the odd Track & Traffic magazine at home, but I had found some at the Toronto Reference Library. It is in Yorkville on Yonge just north of Bloor Street by about 1 block. They had "Track & Traffic Canada" issues available, but not to sign out. Bring your own scanner.
Gastown in Vancouver is a cool area as well with some nice restaurants. Just watch out for the nearby druggies.
