1970 Parisienne. Ingersoll, Ontario

I mentioned this car on another thread. The fellow who is buying my house has a 1970 Parisienne for sale. Believed to be original paint. About 85000 miles. 350. Currently not running but turns over. Mark (the owner) is a tech and will likely have it running this weekend. Needs body work. Trunk rough. Floors not bad from what he can tell. Not sure about the frame. Looking for $1000 or best offer.

If interested you can PM me and I'll put you in contact with him.

And if someone needs to inquire about parts I'm always available.   I have many spare parts for the 70 Pontiac B-body.

I should have more photos later tonight or tomorrow morning. I talked to Mark tonight and he said the frame is a little punky in that usual spot behind the front wheels. The rest looks good. Chrome is good as are the emblems. Windshield has a crack. It was sold new at York Pontiac Buick in Toronto.

Yep. Now that I've seen photos the frame is more than punky. Still, it does have a lot of good parts.

Ditto. The $1000.00 asking price will now be negotiable.

I'm sure Mark is open to offers. If you own a 70 Pontiac and live in the rust belt you know how hard it it to find parts. All it takes is for someone to be texting and drive into the back of you and now you have the challenge of finding a new rear bumper. This car has good front and rear bumpers, lots of great trim and interior parts, good 350 emblems, solid doors etc etc. A parts car can be worth their weight in gold.

Correct me if wrong here, but wasn't 1970 the last yr. for "flat top" pistons in the SBC???? If it will "RUN" the engine is 'worth' something being the last with some Compression!!! Cars "pretty' rusty, but does hold "some' parts!!!

1970 has flat top pistons.  Some 1971 have flat top pistons but very large 75cc combustion chambers for 9:1 compressiom. 1972 all have dished pistons and 75 cc heads for 8.5:1 compression. The engine in the pontiac would work really nice with a set of 64cc vortec heads and a performer cam with a matching intake.
