67 Dash gear indicator display question. Floor shift.

On a 67 Parisienne with floor shift, what is in place in the dash gear indicator opening?

Just a plain filler piece?

Thanks, Mark

Mark, is that the Canadian brochure? I assume it has to be, looking at the console.

Two questions-

1) The dash says Grande Parisienne doesn't it? Wouldn't it have a woodgrain console?

2) Look at the right end of the cluster. Doesn't it have optional gauges?

Good ole brochure pics make you go hmmm. lots of weird things in them. Especially the 67 chevrolet ones.

Keep in mind the brochures are produced before the cars, so they're not always 100% accurate.

 1) No, the Grande's were dressed with the same console as the Impala or Canadian 2+2. Aluminum trim. Which is nice, because they make reproduction aluminium trim for this console. But a burlwood insert would probably better matched the dash. No mind, the bright trim will look good with the blue!

2) Was a Rally cluster an option on the Canadian 67's?

Interesting, in 66 it was woodgrain, but not in 67...

As far as I have ever seen, no rally cluster in Canadian Pontiacs for 67 or 68.
