My Dad (Johnny) bid $18,500 on this car during the auction early last October. (He was the highest bidder)

He asked the car's owner: "What's your bottom line price?"

Reply: "I have 45K invested, let's see where the highest bid comes in at 1st"

...I don't doubt that amount of money was spent building it. Great look'n car IMO.
