At last

After melting some wires and replacing the wiring harness plus all the switches, thanks to Dave "Tin Man", my 64cs now has everything working. Today I located the short to the tailights that created this whole mess. Found it behind the upper rear seat, the wire was broken and took out two others. Had to climb up where the spare is to locate this problem and fix it, but boy am I happy

Good for you. Some of those electrical issues can be a real bear to find. Especially when it takes out another circuit.

Thanks Carl and John. One other thing I replaced was the Sun Tach that came with the car. I put in a new Auto Meter unit with the white face. It slid right into the stock left housing. I know it is not factory, but it works perfect with the HEI.
