64 cs build

got the engine out tonight. always feels like you are finally getting something done, slow going but it takes time. most of the interior is out. floors and braces next, i think i will use light gauge 2'' channel iron for the inner rocker, outer rockers will be hand made, not sure how thats going to go.... lol. i will keep adding pics to this thread as time goes on. has anyone done rocker panels on a 64 full size pontiac and have pictures?  thanks

Great deal on the w engine but I want to keep it stock with the 327, should be enough as I intend to build a cruiser (for now) ... I have a nice BBC and would like to 4 speed it when I get tired of the 327/ powerglide. It's all about the dream!

You need to make friends with a sprinkler fitter. Used 2 1/2",3" and 4" pieces of pipe make for cheap sheet metal rollers, ideal for forming rockers.

Hey Kyle, since we have almost the same cars, (see attachment) I will be really interested in your re-build. You are past the point of no return brother. It will be a awsome ride when finished.

Once you get to the 1/4s,  cut as little as possible,, the aftermarket panels are not the best.
