62 Clutch pedal assembly

I have a 62' Catalina 389 that I'm converting from Auto to 4 Spd.  Collecting bits and pieces as I go...

Have the correct steering column now and a lump of Borg Warner stuff back in the corner.  I'm wondering if anyone has had any success using Canadian pedals in an American car.

Photos I've seen show the Canadian brake pedal dropping straight down on the right of the steering column.  American brake pedals swing around on the left side of the column.

I've seen a number of these Canadian style setups for sale but the American ones seem hard to get and outrageously priced when they do surface..

Clutch linkage is not a concern as I'll be going hydraulic...

Anybody done this?

If  62 Canadian Pontiac is identical to Impala/Bel Air     then question is    will Chevy parts work for you ??

A Canadian Pontiac/Chevrolet is completely different in all of those aspects (pedal and clutch linkage related) than an American Pontiac.
