I went to the site and it seems to only give exterior color codes for 66,doesn't list fawn or gold.Is there a place on that site to lookup interior colors?If so I cant seem to find it,but then again I dont have the greatest computer skills.Would the interior color be in my vin #,if so I can go to my local auto supplier and get it mixed.Thx

Code will be on "trim tag" on firewall not in the VIN (so you are looking for interior paint codes ? like dash and pillars etc.. )

heres some internet chatter on 66 Nova with fawn interior and maroon exterior

On my 66, I was going to go with a fawn color for the fabric and a "buckskin" color for the metal. It was a little darker than the original paint color but, I went with black.

There were multiple shades of Fawn so, it depends on what you are looking for.

I appreciate your response. There was only one shade of Fawn interior for 1966 Chevy IIs.

On Super Sports and Sport Coupes the sheet metal (door tops/bottoms, etc.) was a gold color.

We're looking for the name of that color. Could be Sandalwood Tan. Cars with this combo will have that sheet metal color coded on the cowl tag.

Is the interior two tone? Soft materials are Fawn, but interior metal is a gold color? We're looking for the paint code for the gold color. Should be a one letter code in upper right hand corner of the cowl tag. Thanks for your help.

Yes. I think the interior is gold (dash) and fawn (interior )I need to repaint the metal seat backs to orig.

Didn't get it. 427Carl helped by directing me to a a site, but by the time I read to the end of it, it still didn't give me a paint code just the colour gold.Took my glovebox to my local paint shop for colour match on monday Jan 6 , picked it up fri Jan 10 . Counter guy opened the can, still out by at least 4 shades ( and I'm colour blind ). Anybody know the best way to get a colour match or have orig pant code ??? Thx Jim

No ,they dont have a scanner,should I go to a supplier with a scanner ? I dont know if there is one in Victoria , I'll have to phone around I guess ?

I just took my ashtray cover to a place in Winnipeg yesterday and I'm happy with the results. Might be worth a try for you to call around.

Thx , didn't think my eye's were that bad yet . I'll try another supplier and see if they can get it closer or try to find someone with a scanner in town.

This is what you are looking for

Shows codes for Dupont interior color, Flat codes for dash, Semigloss codes for interior panels

Hopethis link works, this site is amazing, i would recomend either going to a Dupont dealer with these codes, or try PPG, PPG has the best library when you call there tech support line, but i dont know the phone #, a PPG body shop will probably get you the phone #

Fantastic! Aztec bronze with a fawn interior, that car is going to be a Knockout! so nice to see a car getting done in a nice original color combo instead of the usuall resale red or some gawd awfull 2012 corvette color

A coupel of my buddies came over and saw the colour and really liked it! I wasn't sure at first , but every time I go into my garage I like it more and it's hard to tell the true colour with no sunlight .
