Jason i have a question for you, regarding your 57 Pontiac gasser build. Where the heck would you find a 57 Pontiac fiberglass flip front end for your project? You might have to fabricate that one your self brother. Cheers. George.
George,
Not too sure what I am going to do yet?? I am not afraid of building a mold for a fiberglass front, or maybe I will just stitch the steel together.
I will know better when I get closer to that time..

I have a very rare one piece fiberglass Canadian hood for my 57 Gasser project and I might make a mold of. I was also going to try and make fenders as well. Here's a pic of the hood. I might be selling it and my 57 2dr Business Coupe project because I have an opportunity to buy a really unique project. If you might be interested Jason, shoot me an e-mail. It might be easier for you to use my car and the chrome off the 4dr instead of converting the 4dr. And yes my 57 has two solid rear oval bumper covers.

You are quite a ways away from me, but maybe PM me the details..
Was able to get it home today. Took some work to get it up in the air to put rolling wheels under it. Previous owner was able to find the missing keys. Found the rest of the chrome plus an extra grill and extra rear bumper in the trunk.
Good stuff Jason ... I'd imagine it was hard to jack-up in it's resting place.

Looks pretty good in the pics. How are the floors and frame.
frame is in great shape, floors are soft.
Luckily all the floor panels are 57 Chevy, readily available and reasonably cheap, as you well know by now. Good luck with the build Jason. Cheers. George.

So, This old girl has been sitting long enough, its time to actually start tearing it apart. I will be selling off all the parts and pieces that I will not be needing as it comes apart. I really do not want to store the stuff.. So I am looking for input on what I should be asking $$ wise for this stuff...
Engine and trans... 261/p-glide (last ran in 2010) I will try and fire it before removing and get video. Complete air cleaner to pan.. $??
Complete rear axle, drum to drum $??
frame and suspension will cut be cut off just ahead of firewall. Worth anything to anyone?
Steering column, and wheel, $??
I will not be using any of the grill. all 3 pieces were re-chromed, but previous owner did not store them properly.. Pics show after I unwrapped them from some soggy paper... I seen a couple on ebay.. $395 - $2000 whats fair $?
Thanks guys, and of course you all get first dibs..
Jason, I'll move this over to the classified section, parts for sale. I know you're not sure what to ask for this stuff but the rule here is that items for sale must be priced.
Can you put prices on the stuff please as per the classified section rules?
Thanks.
And we appreciate you giving the forum guys here first crack at this stuff!
