Cool ! 6 months later I was born ! lol... I still remember in the late sixties / early 70's, full size Pontiacs and Chevrolets were all over the roads.

They really were that popular. Very cheap & plentiful by the time I started driving. Early 70s, $200 would get you a decent mid 60s Pontiac full sizer. They were cheaper than used Chevs back then for some reason.
That was ok by me.

When I see those photos  I can "smell" the rust    most were rotted away by the 70's

 Oh yeah Carl  that's why they were so cheap! My 66 Custom Sport  was too rusty to safety check in 72.

This was the winter of 75-76. My dad's convertible had 17 patches, duct tape around the windshield and did I say no heated seats nor remote starter?
