I'm trying to place where I had seen a picture of that car. Was it in a Canadian Classic Chevelle & Beaumont newsletter? Online? What I recall was a base 2-door post, black with white SD stripe set, chrome window frames, a HD 3-speed floor shift, Rally Wheels or Centerlines. It did not look derelict or hoopty.

POOF and my post disapeared..
Anyway, I had a landlady in Chilliwack in about '73 who had a '69 sedan with vent windows (not an SD, a 4 door)
and yes those stripe look 'shoped or something, too big..
George, where art thou..I thought ALL 69 SD's were 2 door hard tops with bench seat and collum (can't spell today) auto shifts ?

Guessing there was more than one black 69 SD coupe in Winnipeg... my cousin owned one that he showed in the early 80's or so, black 396, post, it had velour interior (and trunk and underhood) and airbrushing on it... I believe it was the one that was for sale later as a project in the late 80's or early 90's in St. Andrews for around $3500 with no engine... I never did go look at, even though it was a few miles from my house.

There may have been 2 69 SD cars in Winnipeg way back when.I went and looked at one in Oak Bluff years ago-but I am not sure if it was the same post car I went and looked at years later-cannot remember either way or not.But the last 69 post car that I went to see was west of Winnipeg and it was like the one in the pics above-it needed every single panel on the car replaced-really really rough when you looked at it hard and closely.Last time I had talked to Brad Trask about it he wanted to know if anyone had found it again because it was the only 69 post car he had ever heard of being documented at all.
